Our Mission

To gather musicians and other individuals interested in working together for the common cause of ending poverty in Brown County. Brown County Musicians United to End Poverty will distribute its 2008 CD proceeds to Mother's Cupboard. Our ultimate goal is to help our impoverished neighbors to unloose the shackles of poverty and to experience hope.  During the process, we will purpose to build community with each other and with those we seek to assist through this project. This endeavor will bring together people of different faith communities and those without such a community for this common purpose.

A Brown County Project to End Poverty

BCM, as of February 2009, has raised $7,000 for Mother's Cupboard (MC) Community Kitchen in Brown County. We are grateful to everyone who supported this project including the 25 + retailers and churches that sold the CD. We still have many more CD's to sell.
